Congrats to Kate Poxleitner who is our May Athlete of the Month!
Kate started training with us in February 2017 shortly after moving to Guelph. While recovering from a car accident, she spent most of her time training in our CrossFit Light Program. Since then she has also spent some time in our Weightlifting and CrossFit classes to improve her fitness.
Most recently she enrolled in our strength program and seen some significant jumps in her strength. Today in week 9 of her program, she deadlifted 332lbs for 3, benched 113lbs for 3 and squatted 211lbs for 4. All of those lifts are heavier than her previous 1RMs!
Kate has been a welcome addition to our community. She always comes to the gym ready to work and have fun doing it.
